Lapize

From the time it opened in 1935 until the 1970s, both experienced riders and beginners tackled the côte Lapize, an isolated segment of the Linas-Montlhéry motor racing circuit: Monneret, Beltoise, Rougerie or Bernard Feuiltaine and his incredible supercharged special Triumph setting record after record in the fifties… Whether riding a Koehler-Escoffier 1000 cc or Flandria 50 cc, the côte Lapize was an absolute must for the challenge it presented as well as the experience shared between friends.
The Lapize jacket is made from two to three pieces of horse leather (the back from a single piece). It is extremely comfortable thanks to its perfect cut. Side diagonal zipper for improved protection, inside pocket, 1930s to 1950s style Waldes zippers, navy blue cotton twill lining woven in Japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding.
