Classique

Montreuil, Argenteuil and Porte des Lilas… Although the very first motocross racing event took place after WWI in Surrey in 1924, the motor racing circuits in the greater Paris region have welcomed the European champions and the most outstanding motorcycles to date.  These include Sarolea, FN, Gilera Saturno, BSA Goldstar and other Ariels, which can be seen racing neck to neck and in all weather conditions.  This motorcycle jacket was created with this practical aspect in mind.
Designed by Pierre Girard, the Cardiff black Classique jacket has no back seams and is crafted from a piece of 360g/m2 waxed cotton woven in England by British Millerain. It features a lined and stitched fitted belt with a leather buckle. Leather-trimmed inside pocket with zipper and five outer pockets: two chest pockets with zippers, one with a flap and one gusseted “D pocket”, two side pockets with flaps and one practical back pocket with flaps.  Snaps reinforced with horse leather and custom-made Waldes zippers. Velvet cuffs, with a snap fastener. Velvet-lined Cossack collar with a strap and leather buckle fastener. Navy blue cotton twill lining woven in Japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding for unrivaled elegance.
