Since 1951, generation after generation of motorcycle riders have raced the Grand Prix de France, striving for ultimate performance. Les Motocyclettistes continue this quest with the Grand Prix de France jacket.
These jackets are cut and assembled in Paris, from sheepskin tanned in France. The 100% vegetable tanning process leaves the skin increasingly supple and resistant. It features shoulder and elbow padding, created without external pads. Straight central zipper, water-resistant thanks to a wide flap. Tight-fitting sleeves for riding comfort, with a wide leather flap along the wrist zippers. Inside zipped pocket, with 1930s to 1950s style Waldes zippers. Navy blue cotton twill lining woven in Japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding. Two colors: black with charcoal gray or chocolate brown topstitching, tone on tone topstitching.
This jacket is specially designed to match our Culotte de compétition sheepskin jodhpurs.
