Grand Prix

Founded in 1920, the Grand Prix de France has been an important World Championship motorcycle speed-racing event since 1951. English singles with current multi-cylinder engines, generation after generation of motorcycles have raced on this circuit, rivaling for the ultimate in performance. Les Motocyclettistes perpetuate this quest with the Grand Prix jacket, the sleek expression of the practical and aesthetic qualities of clothing specially made for a genuine sportsman.
The Grand Prix jacket is made from two to three pieces of horse leather (the back from a single piece). It is extremely comfortable thanks to its perfect cut. The cut of the neckline reflects the original “racer” suits and jackets. The topstitched shoulder and elbow protection is created without hidden padding. Straight central zipper, water-resistant thanks to a wide inner flap, “racer” collar, inside pocket, 1930s to 1950s style Waldes zippers, navy blue cotton twill lining woven in Japan, with inside diamond shaped topstitched padding.
